QUESTION: Does Arizona offer a service to a motor carrier to give them an electronic verification of positive results from roadside inspections? Does Arizona offer this service? Do you know of any States that may offer this service?

ANSWER: There is no nationwide employee notification program, yet. Only 11 states—New York, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Arkansas, Oregon and California—have state ENS (Employer Notification System) programs in place. While this type of ENS requires electronic notification of any convictions on a driver's CDL, it could possibly include notification of a positive drug test.
