How to Become Certified

Certified Director of Safety (CDS): 5 Years (or 4 years if you have a college degree) in fleet safety management
Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS): 2 Years in fleet safety profession

Certification Category:	CSS and CDS
On your own prior to courses:	Complete pre-reading
Course requirement #1:	Motor Fleet Safety Basics (Classroom or Testing Option)
Course requirement #2:	Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs (Classroom)
Exam and Exhibit workshop:	Certification examination and Exhibit workshop on morning following the training courses
On your own following courses:	Submit certification application and exhibit binder within 60 days of classroom training and exam

Fees for Professional Certification Applicants:

All-inclusive tuition for Accelerated Certification School Program (includes both course fees, NATMI membership fee, certification kit and certification application fee):

$1,295 (4 days of classroom training)

$1,195 (testing option for Motor Fleet Safety Basics + 2 days classroom training)
